Obtain API Key to Authenticate Bugzilla Content Source

To successfully authenticate your Bugzilla Content Source using API Authentication, you need to obtain an API Key.

This article outlines the steps to retrieve a Bugzilla API Key.

Obtaining an API Key for Bugzilla

1. Log into your Bugzilla instance using your admin credentials.

2. Navigate to Preferences.

   

3. Switch to the API Keys tab.

   

4. If you already have an API key, use it to authenticate your Bugzilla Content Source.

5. To create a new API key, select Generate a new API key, optionally add a description, and confirm the action.

Use this API key to authenticate your Bugzilla Content Source in the SearchUnify admin panel.
