Preview Search Results

This is a configuration in Search Clients > Edit > Configurations. To read about other configurations available under this tab, return to Basic Search Client Configurations.

Preview Search Results

To activate preview of the search results on a Search Client, an admin must:

  • Toggle on Preview Search Results in Search Clients > Edit > Configurations.

  • Configure the Preview pane in Search Clients > Edit > Content Sources > Preview.

When Preview Search Results is turned on, users can click the Preview icon to view results in a small pane without navigating away from the search results page.

Steps to Enable the Preview Search Results

  1. Open a Search Client for editing.

  2. Navigate to Configurations and toggle Preview Search Results to ON.

  3. Save the settings.

  4. Select the fields to display in the Preview pane.

  5. Repeat these steps for all the search clients.
