SearchUnify Release Notes (v23.11)

The November 2023 SearchUnify release is focused on search clients, with key updates including a new search client for Higher Logic Vanilla and a Salesforce Community search client based on Lightning Web Components (LWC). Additionally, the support agents using Zendesk Support Console search client can now open tickets in Zendesk Agent Workspace, without the need to open a new tab.

Search Client for Higher Logic Vanilla

Higher Logic Vanilla is a popular platform for creating and managing business communities. You can now install a SearchUnify search client in Higher Logic Vanilla. The new search client makes it easier for your community members to find the information they need across all of your organization's data sources.

View Tickets in Zendesk Agent Workspace

When Zendesk Console search client users click on a ticket, the ticket will open in either a new browser tab or in the Zendesk Agent Workspace. Admins can configure which option takes place by going to Zendesk Search Client > Edit > Configurations. If they choose "All tickets open in a new browser tab," the ticket will open in a new tab. If they select "All tickets open up in the same window in the Zendesk Agent View," the ticket will open in the Zendesk Agent Workspace.
